Who We Are

We are a small team dedicated to supporting bereaved parents on their healing journey

Detola Amure, Founder & Director

Detola, the founder of MLWC, has dedicated herself to supporting individuals who have experienced loss. In 2018, she suffered the loss of her 7 month old twin son and embarked on a personal healing journey that inspired her to help others find solace.

Today, through her work at MLWC, she is committed to providing compassionate support to bereaved parents and families who may be struggling to cope with their own loss.

Her mission is to offer hope and guidance to those in need, helping them to navigate the difficult emotions that can arise in the aftermath of loss.

Stella Agwor, Director

Stella is one of the Directors of MLWC. She empowers people to rise above their past and embrace their full potential. She believes in authentic self-expression and thriving in all aspects of life.

Loss touched her life deeply at a young age, with the passing of her mother at age 14 and the unimaginable loss of her daughter at 16 months.

Stella has walked alongside countless individuals on their grief journeys, offering empathy and understanding.

Yemisi Broughton, Director

Yemisi is one of the Directors of MLWC. A highly experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner, she brings a wealth of expertise in women’s health, sexual health, and chronic disease management.
